1. Ensure the breast pump and accessories are installed correctly, and the flange fits your breast comfortably and securely during pumping.
2. Select the correct flange size. Momcozy offers sizes 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 27mm. Check the flange size guide here.
Use the included “nipple measuring tool” to measure your nipple diameter accurately—measure only the nipple, excluding the areola—to find your perfect flange size.
3. Replace silicone breast pump accessories every 3 months or as needed based on wear and suction performance.
4. For best support, use a full coverage bra, stretch fabric bra, nursing buckle bra, or wireless bra during pumping.
How Can I Confirm the Correct Flange Size?

To maintain optimal pump performance, some accessories need regular replacement. If you notice a decrease in suction, check your parts—especially the valves—for signs of wear, fraying, or stretching, and replace them as needed.
Diaphragms, duckbill valves, and inserts are recommended to be replaced every 2–3 months.
Flange shields and milk collectors should be replaced every 6 months.
